Romania Review 09-20-20

Dear Praying Friends,

We were thankful to see Terezia in both services today and the Belușa family continues to come on Sunday mornings. Tibi and Genica were traveling today but everyone else was in their place. The spirit in the church is good and the fellowship is sweet.

Well, Friday came and went and there is no word on the permits we need to get utilities hooked up. But the work inside is going well. The main meeting room is ready for paint. Dry wall in the hall, bathroom, kitchen and back rooms will start going up this week. The floor tile has been ordered and should arrive this week. Each Friday evening the men of the church meet to take care of various needs on the property. For a look at what’s been happening, please click one of the following links to watch a video update. There is a lot of talk about the second wave of quarantine coming this fall. As school kids carry the virus home and infect parents and grandparents, the talk is that there will be a total shutdown, stricter than what happened in the past. Even now things are not easy. One local church was fined $10,000 for not social distancing and other violations. “Repenter” churches (Baptist, Pentecostal, Brethren, Adventist, Jehovah Witness) are targeted. Orthodox churches are mostly empty. So…are you listening for the trumpet?!!
